How to prepare egg fried rice

Egg Fried rice is one of the most popular Chinese dishes in Indians and here is a simple recipe to cook your favorite dish at home.

Ingredients
·         3 to 4 cups of long grain white rice
·         1.5 to 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
·         4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
·         1-2 chopped onions
·         ½ to 1 teaspoon of pepper
·         ½ to 1 teaspoon of salt
·         1-2 eggs

Preparing the Ingredients
Before you start making the dish itself, it is necessary that you prepare the ingredients beforehand so they are easily available in prepared form to you while cooking. Precook rice and make sure that they are only half cooked, chop up your onions and beat the eggs. When you are done with all these steps, you can start preparing your fried rice following the steps given below.

Cooking the Fried Rice
Put your frying pan on the burner and turn the heat to medium high. After the pan is heated, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in it. Let the oil to coat the bottom of pan; reducing the heat of the burner, pour eggs in it and cook it for a while.
When it is cooked, empty your pan and add another 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in it. Add rice and stir it with a large spoon occasionally for few minutes. Remember your rice is already precooked.

Now add soy sauce and mix it well with rice. After a minute, add rest of the ingredients starting with the eggs and then salt and pepper. Stir them for a few minutes and allow the ingredients to from a nice mixture with rice so their tastes can blend with each other. Your egg fried rice is now ready, remove the pan from the burner and serve it hot.
